here comes your man…

September 21, 2009

outside there’s a box car waiting
outside the family stew
out by the fire breathing
outside we wait ’til face turns blue

i know the nervous walking
i know the dirty beard hangs
out by the box car waiting
take me away to nowhere plains

there is a wait so long
here comes your man

big shake on the box car moving
big shake to the land that’s falling down

is a wind makes a palm stop blowing
a big, big stone fall and break my crown

smartest and greatest idea ever.

smartest and greatest idea ever.

there is a wait so long
you’ll never wait so long
here comes your man

i think i just found one of the most unique and delightful weddings ever.  just the style by itself is ah-maze-ing.  who’d ever think of a peacock feather bouquet…or peacock feathered theme, period?  featured recently on styled unveiled and other blogs as well, Kristi and Anthony’s day was anything but ordinary.  please take note of the talented photographer, Christine Chang, who caught the best moment of Anthony’s first look at Kristi as she walked down the aisle.  there isn’t one thing that’s not to like from this wedding; from the totally fun bridesmaid dresses to the groomsmen boutonnieres to the shortening of the bride’s dress (GENIUS idea!) to the send-off.  to check out more from the wedding and other work from this talented photographer, please go to Christine Chang and don’t forget to check out her blog too.  also, the genius and totally amazing florist for this wedding was DiamondWillow.  the best part, DiamondWillow is Kristi herself.  Her fiance’s last name is “Pava” which comes from the word “pavone” which in Italian means “peacock”.  how cool is that.  as Kristi so perfectly said, “now i have a piece of art that my new husband takes pride in”. love love love.
